Seeing as I only went to one show this year (note to self, be more organised next season!), I better share these photos before the chaos of fashion week is forgotten!
These were my favourites! The over-sized, striped sequinned rugby/poncho style top was show-stopping when it appeared on the runway. You could hardly miss it! The western cowboy style top also caught my eye and reminds me of the many denim-jewel encrusted shirts that I've seen in charity/vintage shops.
The fringing was over-sized too which meant that they moved freely and had a life of their own and so they became statement pieces in their own right.
PS: Made some minor changes and resized the photos on the blog and I'm loving the bigger pictures!

Fabulous pictures and lovely collections. I have still never actually been to a fashion show or anything like this and I am starting to realise that I am missing out. It must be so much fun.

I love the way they make up prints with sequins; I probably wouldn't style it in the same way but that's the challenge of taking pieces from the catwalk. I'm so behind with my posts! Hoping for more shows next season for you too, though it can get pretty tiring, be prepared!

It looks fun. The cowboy look..huh? Oh my, we even had a fashion week here in the heartland in Omaha..and it was held under the underpass of the freeway. Wild huh? It was kind of chilly out. One girl had on something of a 'wedding' outfit and it was strapless and I know she thought it was going to come down to her waist. It was quite interesting..as well as the runway music.
I think it's cute and fun, loving the cowgirl theme.

I really like catwalks.. the only ones Ive seen is the Clothes show... ive been twice the first time, the catwalk was sooo extravagant! you re so lucky to see it all!
