There's Art everywhere...

Sometimes you are so used to routine that you don't notice pretty details. I was preparing some dinner, cutting up some Bok Choy/Pak choi (whichever you prefer to call it) when my youngest sister pointed out the rose shapes in the bits that I cut off. So I grabbed my camera and had to share them on here!

A last pretty detail is yet more of my sister, Hailey! I snapped a picture of her ASOS cardigan (sadly all sold out now) which has the loveliest pattern. I need to get a full shot of her outfit soon.

A joint outfit post is in the pipeline at some point but that's enough of Hailey for now, I promise I'll be in the next post!

It's so funny you've posted this as one of the things we teaching the kids today is how to make your food look pretty XD

I was doing the same thing with celery, although I wish i could make these carrot roses my mum makes:

So pretty, I actually thought they were real roses before I read this properly. Also glad your sis is loving the knits and can't wait to see how you style your new dress!

That vegetable (is that a vegetable?) is so cute! We have carambola here (I believe it's starfruit in english) which when you cut is shaped like a star (I'm sure you didn't see THAT coming..). And Hailey's sweater truly is adorable!

wow so pretty! I actually thought it was roses carved into cucumber or something at first.

Wow Winnie, I first thought that was some officially styled pictures only to read that you just snapped that in the kitchen- they are really good! :) I also try to find beauty in most things, because lets be honest, what's the point of living if not living to the fullest and enjoy beauty of everyday? :)
