I've been looking for these CDG Play x Converse collaboration ever since I spied some Korean celebrities wearing them a few months ago. I'd spied them in Selfridges and Liberty in the menswear departments but they never had the smaller sizes in stock. I'd also spotted them on the Dover Street Market site a while ago and instantly signed up to their stock notifications and I excitedly bought a pair when it was pay day, yay! They arrived at my door pretty speedily and they're amazing. They are based on the classic All Star 1970s Chuck Taylors and are a bit chunkier than the normal Converse that I'm used to and the canvas is ever so slightly higher at the heel (so may rub at first!). The soles are thicker and they have more of a cushioned sole that mould to your foot. I really love these Converse and are super comfy even after a day of traipsing around London. I've been wanting some white Converse for a while and these are a great alternative to the usual style!
