ViVi: April 2011 Part 2

So as I promised, here are the rest of the ViVi scans! These scans feature a little more street fashion and also a certain super blogger.

I really love this particular page. Maybe it's just the hair clip and the colours but it reminds me of how Midori dresses in the film adaption of Norwegian Wood by Anh Hung Tran. A beautiful film that I highly recommend...but I'd say read the book first!

Surprisingly, it's been a little too warm for tights lately but I like these and the penchant for geek glasses.

I remember reading on Rumi's blog a long time ago about how she used to read ViVi and identify with the (predominantly) half Japanese models in the magazine. Now she is a regular feature, both as a blogger and being a brand ambassador to several Japanese brands.

    Oh..I so want to see that movie you mention because..well..it has my favorite actor in it. Kind of a flash back of the 70's..I see. Oh, love the style.

    what! I always associate japan's fashion with a more innovative style then rumi's, I guess...
    vivi magazine is still super cute though :) I haven't seen Norwegian Wood yet, but if seems like a promissing movie (also the clothes look so cute!)!

    gahhh, i love japanese street fashion. there are so many amazing things here. i want to go to japan!!!! i used to plan on studying abroad there, but it didn't work out.

    i really love the editorials you've selected! It's such a shame a lot of these things are over-priced... I really miss the UK high street where you can pick up a similar items for a fraction of a price!

    It's good to see the trenches are back - I'm sporting my beige one again.. perhaps I need an updated version >_< I want a floppy hat like that and I really like the tights!

    Reading vivi in the garden, in this weather, must be perfect. All the models are so gorgeous. I am in love with that page with the trench coats. Incredible styling!

    I love it when you do all your Vivi scans ^0^ I wish I were straight-up-and-down enough to wear some of the looks. The tights rock, and I love their geek glasses - I can't find any decent cheap ones here [-_-]

    i love the last coord! i dont think it would be very flattering though XD and i want lena's gingham skirt! i need to make some now

    /reply/ i find it shocking about the quality of expensive products sometimes especially shoes. i have bough timberland and hush puppies before and the quality of them really sucked the hush puppie's sole fell of after a few wears :/

    I love those tights, they are chic! Gosh, i think i shud get the Vivi April issue too!! I've been buyin every single (or almost) Jap mag that features Namie Amuro, that i've been piled with them in my room now,lol.

    Is it weird that I really want a pair of floral tights/leggings? Admittedly would not be wearing them on a white dress and hoodie like that no. 8, but under a pair of frayed black jeans.
