So I don't really do instagram posts anymore but the majority of these are instagram/iphone pictures (find me @diamondcanopy) and I thought I'd try and present them in a slightly different way. On Thursday, I took the day off work and spent the day in London, hanging out with my favourite blogger girls Daniela for lunch at Caravan (we had the most delicious salted caramel hot chocolate there) and then Kristabel in the evening for burgers at Byron and coffee at Foxcroft and Ginger. In between these food dates, I browsed cookbooks, visited the Harry Potter shop at Kings Cross and spent forever browsing homeware in Anthropologie (before swiftly realising I have no need for so many bowls). I also finally visited &otherstories and fell in love with the concept for that store. The merchandising in it's scrapbook style is refreshing (lots of photographs simply taped to the wall and splashes of nail polish) and I found it quite hard to escape!

Hope everyone has had a fantastic long weekend so far! This little fella didn't last long at all...
I love the way you've laid this out - your photos are great! Seems like it was a lovely day :)

ReplyDeleteI love the way that you presented your Instagram photos. It tells a story..beautifully done! I can't believe that there is a Harry Potter store...well okay there kinda HAS to be a Harry Potter store and I am so jealous! It's funny because my friend went to the HP Wizarding World and kept posting pictures on Instagram. Must plan a trip indeed!
I love the platform 9 3/4 mug! x

ReplyDeleteLove the photos! Looks like it was such a lovely time. Happy Easter and April :) xx
ReplyDeleteI love the way you've presented these! It's so much nicer than the usual insta-collages you usually see, it's making me consider including some myself in the future, seeing how nice they can look. The salted caramel hot chocolate sounds heavenly, I really need to get around the visiting & Other Stories too, their bags & footwear blew me away when I checked the website! So good!
ReplyDeletePS: How adorable is your loveworn Totoro keychain?! He is my favourite! :)
Mm, that lunch at Caravan looks so good Winnie! Must add that to my expanding list of places to visit... I haven't indulged in a salted caramel hot choc in a while actually, might do that tomorrow when I get back to London. And Other Stories and Anthropologies are the best visual experiences on Regent Street by a long shot too. (: We should meet up for dim sum and a chatter next time you're down here! x
ReplyDeleteWow! Amazing photos! Happy Easter :)
