After spotting the Illamasqua speckled finish nail polishes on a couple of beauty blogs, I couldn't resist any longer and popped into Selfridges after work and went straight to the Illamasqua counter. There are 5 colours available in pastel shades of purple, pink, green, blue and beige and after a lightning fast purchase, I hopped on the bus home so I could photograph the newest addition to my overflowing nail polish collection.
On the subject of nail polish, I have to mention OPI's Rapid Dry which is the best topcoat ever and my nails seem to stay chip free for ages - so a quick shout out to Sarah who recommended it to me ages ago on Twitter! This post was also a pretty good excuse to buy some mini eggs too as they are LITERALLY all I can think of when I see these polishes. I have to admit that after eating a handful of the mini eggs before I painted my nails, I half expected the nail polish to smell like chocolate. Alas, this is not the case but hey you guys at Illamsqua HQ - there is an idea for you!

I'll def look into that top coat cuz the ones i got lately are no good! I've used another one a few years ago and it was really good in terms of no chip! think it lasted for a week or so but then again, its main purpose is also no chip so go figure, lol but it cost like HK$200 or somthing..if you wanna check it out, here is the link
