This weekend was pretty special. It was my friend Heather's hen party (bachelorette party for all you US and Canadian folk!) and my friends and I started off the weekend in classy style with a surprise afternoon tea. We organised a big spread featuring lots of cake including some very girly and pretty cupcakes made by Paisley Immy Cakes - all made with our theme for the weekend, 'Tweed and Pearls'. Special thanks also goes to Dotcomgiftshop (especially Clare) who generously provided us with the regency cake stand, teapot and paper chains. All these were lovely gifts for Heather to take home and perhaps even make a reappearance at the wedding! The rest of the evening involved delicious Italian food, cocktails and then dancing the night away at Jools Holland's Jam House. I'm really lucky that my closest set of friends are girls that I've known since I was 11yrs old, that's 15yrs and counting and this is the first wedding. I can't wait for Heather's wedding to the lovely Josh...in just 3 weeks time!
The cupcakes look delicious!
