Glasses - London Retro c/o My Optique, Cardi - Zara, Top - ASOS, Skirt - Hong Kong, Shoes - Zara Bag - Vintage MCM, Necklace - Wolf & Moon, Rings - COS and Whistles
It might not be very obvious on this blog but I wear glasses almost all the time and if I'm not wearing glasses/contacts, I feel pretty blind. I wear them every day to work which is a must when I spend all day staring at a computer screen only to come home and spend all evening blogging away (something that I'm sure everyone reading this is familiar with!). I usually buy new glasses every 2 years when I really have to after my routine eye tests because let's face it, glasses are just sooo pricey. My Optique, who stock a large range of Designer Glasses offered me a lovely new pair of specs and I couldn't wait to have a good browse in the Women's Glasses section. After seeing my little sis rock her Ray Ban frames, I knew I wanted some Wayfarer Glasses and opted for this pair by London Retro Glasses. I've worn them every day since I've received them! I love them as they're super comfy and I will certainly look to buy my next frames online, as the ordering process was really easy. I'll be opting for larger frames next time I think...
These are lovely :) Did they send them out for you to try first or did you choose online and they arrived with lenses?
ReplyDeleteThey sent them with the lenses - I guess buying online is always risky but these worked out well luckily!
DeleteLove the shape & the tortoise shell is lovely, they really suit you! I used to be the only one of my family that didn't need glasses (was quite proud of that fact!) but the last time I went to the opticians she said that I would need to start wearing some of reading/computer work. I've still not found a pair I like though, glasses shopping is so hard!
ReplyDeleteI'm in the same boat as you. I get new glasses every 2 years and I'm due for a new pair soon. I love these!

Love the glasses (and the necklace actually), I need my glasses all the time, and my prescription recently changed and I'm dreading having to have new glasses, I find them super hard to pick as I have a tiny head. Getting contacts in my new prescription has been an absolute pain in the behind too. The cost, also makes me wince.
ReplyDeleteLovely glasses! You look great!
