Jacket - H&M, Jumper - Heather (Collect Point, HK), Blouse - Zara, Jeans - Topshop, Boots - Topshop, Necklace - Accessorize, Bag - HK Boutique
I'm back with an outfit post - the first of 2014! The title of the post refers to this starry blouse I bought from Zara just before Christmas. I have already worn this lots since it made it's way into my wardrobe - it's the perfect layering piece and I'll snap a better photo of it soon.
Hope everyone's first week back at work wasn't too tough - I ended my first week by officially booking some flights back to Hong Kong in the Summer which I am really looking forward to. It's my uni friend's wedding and I can't wait to be reunited with some of my old uni buddies as well as catching up with other HK friends and seeing my family. My dad, uncle and I are taking turns flying back to HK and my grandparents are thrilled knowing that they have some regular visitors throughout 2014. I had really wanted to visit Seoul, Korea at some point but I guess this trip will have to wait until 2015 now - has anyone else booked a holiday?! Let me know in the comments below!

Ooo exciting to be flying to HK again! As I grow older, I actually love attending weddings, esp when my close friends are getting hitched and old friends can get together again. We are all flung across the globe and it really takes a big event like a wedding to have us all in the same place at the same time. Speaking of which, I'm going to Boracay for a wedding in late Jan - beyond excited!
ReplyDeleteAw thats really sweet, organising flight like that to visit. It took me 20 yeas for me to visit some of my close family back in Vietnam. And The starry blouse is such a nice basic.

Ooooooh, the shirt is super pretty, and I can't decide if I'm pleased for you for your HK trip or not- the insane jealousy and drooling over your foodie pics is likely to make me a bit crazy!
ReplyDeleteGreat blouse. Your holiday sounds like it's going to be nice. Well, since we've just got back from holiday, none at the moment, but we may go visit some friends in Newfoundland soon on a weekend excursion next month.
ReplyDeleteLove these colours on you! the blazer looks perfect. must be exciting to have summer already planned out, makes winter more bearable xx

I love the look! I've been wanting to invest in a great blazer. Hopefully I will find one that I like soon.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had a trip in awhile. I would love to go out of the country. Hopefully I will be able to Study Abroad soon. There are so many places that I want to go, that it's so hard to decided! One place, in the US, that I would like to go to would be San Francisco. I always see pictures and it just looks like the perfect place to be especially with all of this cold weather!
Cute shirt, I love star prints, and that necklace is amazing!!!! You'll love Seoul for sure! ;) I miss Hong Kong though, it's been 7 years since I've last been now! :O
ReplyDeleteI love your necklace and your whole outfit actually!
ReplyDeleteI love your star print shirt - such a lovely pattern! Exciting to have travel plans booked in too, I am looking forward to your food photos already!
ReplyDeleteSuper lovely outfit. Loving that it's quite traditional and preppy but with a twist.
ReplyDeleteMajor jealousy forming over your upcoming travels. But I will be looking forward greatly to all the food photos that are sure to come. Hubba hubba.
