GONE SHOPPING

Introducing my 3.1 Phillip Lim Mini Pashli in Ink! This rather extravagant purchase was the result of a crazy shopping trip with my friends, Michelle, Zoe and Mandy. It had been on my wish list for a while and the Pashli (and many other satchel shaped goodies) feature high on my Pinterest board and of course, it's a firm favourite with lots of blogs including Susie, Carrie, Shini and other bloggers. With some Chinese New Year money and trusty savings, I finally purchased the Mini Pashli in Harrods and it's awesome. It's the perfect day bag and a little roomier than my beloved MCM Nuovo L shoulder bag and fits comfortably my purse, make up bag, keys and phone. It is surprisingly roomy and it actually looks better stuffed to the brim so that the 'wings' spread out a little. My shopping buddies now have a dedicated Whatsapp group aptly named 'Shopaholics Anonymous' as collectively we hit the shops pretty hard that day - have you seen Mish's (aka Daisybutter) post featuring her gorgeous red Celine Trio? Right time to concentrate on that shopping ban...

    Wowza you know, I'd have preferred to get the mini version actually - the big one is really really heavy on its own, and because it's so roomy it naturally collects a lot of stuff over the day and before you know it you're carrying around something that weighs like a toddler?! So super jealous of the mini one, can't wait to see how you style it!

    Still delirious with shopping fever! It's so gorgeous, I keep falling back in love with it and I even spied it on the lead female actress from You Who Came From The Stars haha. It must be good ;) can't wait to see it in some outfit posts Winnie!

    Oh my gosh that bag is so pretty! It definitely sounds like you thought out your purchase, which is great! I think that it's so satisfying to really mull over a big purchase and then make it. It's like savoring every bite of a meal, haha. Am I overthinking shopping?!
