I don't know about you guys but I go through phases of buying certain things. From homeware, statement necklaces, nail polishes to the softest t-shirts - it's always one thing or another. Lately I've been back on the beauty game and I've got several posts to share with you but this is the only one that I've managed to edit up!
Hourglass has a counter in Liberty (and widely available online) and while a part of me would LOVE to own their primer (it's seriously the best) I just can't justify paying so much for it. Instead, I treated myself to an Ambient Lighting Blush in Dim Diffusion. It's a really natural warm coral shade which is fused with their finishing powder in Diffused Light which gives it some extra depth with a barely there shimmer. It's probably the least shimmery out of the other blushers which is ideal as I'm not keen on overly glittery blushers (always a pain when I'm browsing Japanese make up brands as glitter is in everything). This Hourglass blush is really finely milled and pigmented and I'm really pleased with it - plus isn't it pretty?!
Looks like a lovely warm colour and the packaging is pretty too.
ReplyDeleteomg it looks so pretty *-* i might won't use it hahah packaging game strong with this one! looking good!

The shade is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThis was a slow burner for me, I tend to go for really peachy, almost bright coral blushes but there is something about this lovely, muted shade that makes it far more flattering. If you haven't tried the Ambient Lighting Powders yet I'd fully recommend them too. In fact there's not much from Hourglass I don't like ha!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty purchase! I love warm coral shades for blushes, too.
ReplyDeletehaha it´s definitely pretty! I wish I wouldn´t always be so tempted to buy make up because it looks nice though :D xx

It's lovely isn't it? I tend to go for candy pink shades and rarely opt for such a natural shade but I adore it and have been wearing it most days. Oh yesss, I've got my eye on the pink Lightning powder - really intrigued by the colour!
ReplyDeleteIt's the loveliest shade. Oh my gosh Hourglass packaging is sublime - you should check out their eyeshadows (they're like a work of art!) x
ReplyDeleteSO pretty and hard to resist too! :D
ReplyDeleteIsn't it just? I love the blended blush with the highlighting powder - so nice!
ReplyDeleteI love it - it's super soft and natural so I'm pretty pleased with this little purchase!
ReplyDeleteI don't really have many warm coral shades so I've been loving this one, makes such a nice change from the dusky pinks that I usually go for. I've not visited your blog for a while Sewon - off to check it out and catch up xx
ReplyDeleteWow, this color is so beautiful. *__*

ReplyDeleteI know I am always tempted but I think I need to stay away from beauty counters for a while!
ReplyDeleteIt's such a pretty coral shade and so natural too. Definitely my go to cheek colour at the moment x
ReplyDeleteIt's such a gorgeous color! I reckon it would be perfect for everyday use! I really have to try some products from hourglass soon :)
