Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet, No. 47 L'Amoureuse
It's been a busy old week in the world of Winnie so here is another one of my beauty posts while I get my act together and do some editing. Do you remember that Tom Ford post when I said I wouldn't buy any more lipstick for ages? Well I take that all back as I have a bad habit of browsing beauty counters on the way home after work. This is one of those 'my lips but better' shades and from Chanel's Rouge Allure Velvet range, in number 47 L'Amoureuse which is a muted raspberry red-pink, quite a natural shade. The formula is really pigmented, super buildable and matte - though it's not a drying formula at all (I'd almost call it a matte-satin finish if that makes sense!). As with all things Chanel, the packaging is lovely and to use, you press the gold Chanel logo at the bottom which releases the lipstick from it's case - pretty nifty huh?
Chanel lipsticks are amazing! I got my mum one for Christmas and she seems to really like it!

It's my first one and I can see why they are a hit. Thanks so much - I made myself take these photos late at night as I was desperate to use the lipstick the next day and I'm pleased I got the shots despite the low light! :) x

ReplyDeleteOh I know what you mean! It took me ages to actually use my Tom Ford Lippy. I think I'm done with expensive lippies for now though! Must save to buy more essential items haha!
