Currently I am thinking really hard as to what I can get my dad to bring back from his annual trip back to Hong Kong. It's proving tricky but I'm pretty sure I can convince him to bring back lots of yummy snacks. I'll have to keep thinking of other gifts but in the meantime, I'm preparing myself for the inevitable food pictures which will have me desperately wishing that I am eating whatever he whatsapps to our family group. Oh gosh - I guess it's a taste of my own medicine as 'letting the camera eat first' is definitely a ritual of mine. Speaking of gifts, this double pom pom beanie was sent to me from a very lovely friend (Thanks C!) - it was such a fun surprise to get in the post and perfect as I have been wearing beanies a lot lately. I'm SO ready for it to be Spring though, this Winter has felt far too long!
You look so cosy in these photos! I really need a pink jumper in my life.
ReplyDeleteThe bag!! ;) love the pink and burgundy hues in this Winnie - looks perfect with the cute pom-poms!
ReplyDeleteYour hat is the cutest! xx
ReplyDeletehahah letting the camera eat first is so cute and so true! Love the shirt : D xx
ReplyDeleteI love that hat! I can totally relate I was just saying to a friend our family Line chats to Thailand are basically us sending photos of food to each other in fact while we were there in the summer even the kids picked up our habits and were reminding us to take photos of our food first! xoxo

Cute hat! I'm also starting to feel excited about spring. Although I love winter, I can't wait to put my coat back in the closet. :)
ReplyDeletelove your layering in this outfit Winnie, the skirt looks so cute under this jumper :) x
ReplyDeleteLove the pom pom hat! The spotty shirt is really lovely too.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute outfit! I love the color combination...it is so pretty! :)
ReplyDeleteOh man! Food is always the first thing I think about bringing back from overseas. How good would it be if any food was readily available everywhere in the world?? Then we wouldn’t have to miss out on all those delicious asian snacks (because we really do have the best foods haha)
ReplyDeleteLove the beanie. The pom poms give it a somewhat Disney/Mickey resemblance. Super cute!

Thanks Daisy. I have been wearing that pink jumper a bit TOO much lately! But yes, you definitely need one too ;)
ReplyDeleteHa - I am eagerly awaiting your next bag purchase Mish. Tell me, am I wrong to say you've had monthly bag purchases since moving to HK eh eh? xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Laura! xx
ReplyDeleteI'm obsessed and everyone is used to me now which makes life much easier ha!
ReplyDeleteI know - my dad has actually been rather quiet. He's sent one one photo which made me incredibly hungry when I was at work. Seeing a yummy dinner when you just have soup at work doesn't quite compare. sob!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Maria! The hat is the cutest.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should call them peek a boo collars too! I wear this combination so much but it's so practical too as it's kind of chilly in the UK in the Spring!
ReplyDeleteHa! I've asked for ALLLL the snacks. I just hope he can carry them all back teehee.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait either! I don't really buy coats often so I am always stuck with the same one. It will be so good to wear lighter jackets as I have so many of those. Waiting patiently for the day when I can wear my denim jacket again...
ReplyDeleteThanks Vicki! The shirt is one of my favourite things in my wardrobe, it goes with so much :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Ceri! x
ReplyDeleteThanks! Pink and Maroons are some of my favourite colours and actually I've scarily realised, this is the same for my mother too.....
ReplyDeleteWe SO do have the best snacks haha. I can't wait for him to come back as I know his luggage will be 80% food! Excited!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sophie!!
ReplyDeleteYes! I always feel that I need to request something, anything! Too good an opportunity to miss. What would you usually ask for if friends were coming back from Japan? I've actually asked my dad to bring back some novelty cushions (er...food shaped, but I don't think he will be able to find them!) and some make up (well I've asked my auntie to buy these to save him the embarrassment!). Still, he will definitely come back with lots of other snacks, so I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteThanks Vanessa! I love the trainers so much - they're so so bright :P
ReplyDeleteThanks Rosie, it is really quite cheery so imagine my surprise when I received it in the post. Best day!
ReplyDeleteI always ask for food. Things like really good nori or yuzu shichimi and even preserved sakura thinks that you just cannot get over here :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha I hope you dad finds everything for you!
