Oh I do love a good jumper and there is nothing I love more than feeling cosy. The brighter Spring weather has definitely influenced my spending habits and I've purchased new flats, denim and clothing that are more suited to the sunnier weather we've been having. However we're all used to the temperamental British weather (windy and rainy today!) so a jumper is never too far out of reach and I've still not worn those new flats out yet...
Sometimes after work, I visit M&S to buy boring basics or a quick visit to the food hall (hello percy pigs/mini gingerbread men). On my way to the food hall, I found myself in the Limited Edition range and bought this cropped lilac jumper (instead of discounted pastries!) which was on offer at the time. I love it and M&S is definitely not just for your mum or your nan anymore...

When it's slightly gloomier, I tend to stick to more muted colours like this outfit - so I'm really looking forward to wearing lighter colours, fewer layers and general no-tights weather. This week has been such a tease and I want Summer to arrive now so I can leave my scarf, woolly hat and tights at home. These photos were taken on the windiest day EVER so thank you to Kristabel for putting up with my crazy faces while battling the wind. Most of my photos featured my shocked face with scary medusa hair - lovely!

a jumper is always needed at arm's lenght in England eh, too right. It's more of a sweatshirt for me, but does the same job. Nice pics Winnie.

ReplyDeleteThanks Mat! I'm hoping this rumoured warmer weather we'll be having, actually happens - will be nice to leave the jumpers behind for a little bit!
