Easter weekend means taking it easy with lots of chill out time and a bit of a pamper! Everyone needs a little 'Me Time' and I'll be trying out some new Lush goodies. Truth be told, I've only ever tried a lip scrub from Lush and I've never ever used any of their other products, let alone their rather infamous bath bombs. You might think I've been living under a rock but I've just always felt quite overwhelmed whenever I've visited the stores - overwhelmed senses and also all the different multi-coloured products. When I visited the Lush stall at The Chocolate Festival with Kristabel last weekend, Lush were showcasing some of their treatments available at their Lush Spas (I'm hoping one opens in Birmingham eventually) and gave me a few bits to try. I'm really looking forward to testing them out and I've already got my eye on some of their shower gels and shampoos.

I'm in London at least once a month these days but the last couple of weeks has been a bit crazy and I've been down to hang out with friends but also down for work. So this Hazel Nicholls card holder (purchased at Selfridges in London) has been the perfect partner when hopping on trains and the tube so much. It's the cutest thing!

I also have these rather nifty mason jars which I have been drinking juice, lemon water and even green tea out of lately. They're so pretty and I'm not going to lie, I bought them knowing that they would be extremely Instagrammable/photgenic. I know I know - this is what being a Blogger has done to me!
I absolutely adore that ticket purse it's the cutest. Those mason jars are everywhere, I even thought to myself the other day that my smoothies would be more Instagram worthy if I got one lol! Have a great Easter xoxo

ReplyDeleteYES! It just so powdery smelling isn't it and you can always smell the store before you see it haha. I tried the bath bomb tonight and I loved it. I'd definitely be tempted to go and buy a few more for those 'treat' days. This one is called Granny takes a dip and made my bath all colourful!
ReplyDeleteI've so loved using it as the ticket holder is just so cute! I can't help it. I can't have a juice in a normal glass anymore haha x
ReplyDeleteIt's awesome isn't it? It's so simple too, I reckon I could make something similar when I run out, but there is so much of it, I don't think that will happen for a long time!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah! Oh those mini eggs didn't last long at all ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Diana, I'm so jealous you found these in the pound shop! I definitely paid a bit more than £1 for these!
ReplyDeleteYeah the lip scrubs are always a good call, I definitely will be using mine before I go to bed tonight - essential if like me, you like wearing lip sticks/stains!
ReplyDeleteAw glad you like them Louise! I had all the things for a post and thought that they would look good in a still life together! I'm glad it worked out. I definitely need to check out what else Lush have to offer, this bath bomb in the pic above was awesome!
ReplyDeleteOh I need to try those out! Thanks for the recommendation Vanessa!
ReplyDeleteI love those mason jar style jugs - they're amazing! Where did you find them? I am a long-time Lush convert, I love the scents and the colours, and their soaps are lovely! Whenever I get some money for Christmas or a birthday I always treat myself. Lovely post! - Tasha

ReplyDeleteThey are lovely - I just loved the fact they had a handle on them too. I've seen people using just Mason jars as tumblers at garden parties on Pinterest so I got all excited at the sight of these!
ReplyDeleteThose mug/jars are going to be a treat this summer! I can imagine drinking chilled green tea or korean corn tea or my hot weather fave - mugi-cha out of them! YUM!
ReplyDeleteit's always fun to read your blog and look at the pretty pictures :)
ReplyDeleteI'm the same when I go into Lush, it's so overwhelming! I always pick up recommendations from bloggers first and go in to get something in particular. And the mason jars are lovely, blogging just makes you want everything to be aesthetically pleasing! xx
