Wolf and Moon created by Hannah Davis is one of my favourite jewellery brands and a quick search leads me to this post when I first mentioned them on the blog. I adore the simple, geometric laser cut designs, great for when you don't want to wear a loud statement piece and you'll often spot me wearing a Wolf & Moon jewellery in my style posts. I'm often found perusing the online shop and since it was my friend Carly's birthday - a friend who I know is partial to a brooch or two, I immediately thought to buy one of the origami heart brooches with pretty wooden lattice overlay. I couldn't resist a new necklace in the shape of her Cove Necklace for myself too. Oops! Well, it would be rude not to!
Do you guys have any favourite jewellery brands? I recently came across this Etsy seller, DoubleBJewelry who I've purchased a few things from for more upcoming birthdays. The designs aren't quite as unique as Wolf and Moon but the shipping from S.Korea is decent and most importantly, the store is full of some really lovely affordable dainty necklaces and earrings, perfect for gifts!

Oh wow, what a pretty necklace! And the lazer cut is really interesting. I'll have to take a peek at their store!
ReplyDeleteThough I am not really into accessories, I tried checking Etsy once and I found a lot. Some were just plain and really expensive so I didn't mind getting interested to such. This one is so elegant and minimal :) I like it, Winnie!
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of these, but they're so pretty too - definitely agree with what you said. There are days I don't want anything fussy or loud and these types of necklaces are perfect for that. Will definitely be checking these out! - Tasha
ReplyDeleteThe origami heart brooch is just beautiful!! I don't typically wear jewelry out on casual days, but I think I might have to now :)

These jewelry are beautiful! I cannot agree more, these make a lovely birthday gift. I'm certain your friend will be happy with them :)
ReplyDeleteI tend to gravitate to accessories like the ones by DoubleBJewelry, just because I like light-weight jewelry that doesn't put weight on my neck. That cove necklace does look really pretty though!
ReplyDeleteI want so many things from their store, such fab designs. My favourites are the more minimal designs :)
ReplyDeleteThere are some sellers on Etsy which are affordable so it's worth having a second look. Wolf and Moon on the other hand are a lovely little brand which I've loved for so long now :)
ReplyDeleteI tend to go with more simple pieces these days. I have some pieces found at vintage fairs that are gorgeous but so heavy!
ReplyDeleteI think my friend really liked it - the laser cut design is super pretty isn't it? I wear jewellery most days - it feels odd if i'm not wearing a ring or a necklace.
ReplyDeleteThe origami brooch is so pretty - they have matching earrings and necklaces too which are pretty tempting!
ReplyDeleteThanks Valerie! I think I made a good choice for my friend's birthday :D
ReplyDeleteMe too - I adore the simplicity!
ReplyDeleteAh yes, I do love them ever since I found their stall at Bestival one year. Can't help my check the site out every now and then :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Anita! Her designs are so lovely!
ReplyDeleteYes she loved the brooch, so I'm glad that I made the decision to buy it :)
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, I have some heavy necklaces which I rarely wear because they're just uncomfortable at the end of the day! I prefer lighter pieces these days too - DoubleBJewelry do some lovely stuff and well made too!
ReplyDeleteSame here :) I've only been to a couple of vintage fairs but they're always good for finding really nice pieces too.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a favourite jewellery brand but these are lovely - I really like the intricate geometric design of the heart. I always forget about etsy when buying gifts (I'm not that big with online shopping) which is stupid as there are so many lovely things on etsy. xxx
ReplyDeleteReally pretty and great photography!

I love online shopping and can spend hours agonising over whether to buy something. Wolf and Moon are a favourite so I find it really easy to click 'buy' oops!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Alina! x
