Gotta get my blogging game back in gear so lets start with a catch up from the best weekend ever. It was my friend Rachael's hen do and she gathered a bunch of us together and I had the best time hanging out with new friends and old ones. I don't really know how she managed to do it as sometimes gathering different friendship groups together can feel bit awkward but this group seamlessly blended together and it was SO much fun. We had coke floats and retro dance lessons at Le Keux, ate our fill of pizza and then relived some old uni nostalgia at Snobs. It's a place we used to frequent a lot at uni (where half of us all met) and dance to all our favourite Indie tracks. The track list hadn't changed one bit and we all sang along to oh-so-familiar Libertines and Bloc Party songs and it felt exactly like being back at university. It was the best feeling ever. We danced the night away and then had brunch the next morning before we all said our goodbyes. The wedding is in August in Brighton and I can't wait to be reunited for the biggest celebration of them all!

This place looks so cute! Sounds like you had a lovely time too :) x

hahs I hear you! I have the same problem. Too many little friendship groups that are quite different to each other! Makes me feel anxious getting them in the same room so I usually have smaller birthday get to get togethers rather than one big party....we will both have to brave it one day!
ReplyDeleteAh this looks so cool! I love the retro theme, it's been so long since I last had a coke float, they always take me back to childhood! I love Bloc Party too - their songs bring back so many memories! - Tasha
ReplyDeleteLooks like so much fun. I haven't been to a hen party in years or had a coke float in even more years! The retro diner looks fab.
ReplyDeleteSounds like such a great night, Winnie! And I love that photo of all you guys together! :) X
ReplyDeleteIt was really cute and it was a lot of fun, despite having too left feet when dancing haha. I'm so uncoordinated!
ReplyDeleteAh the brunch was so good. I had originally opted for a half portion, so I'm pleased I changed it. Food regrets/envy are the worst!
ReplyDeleteAll the hen parties I've been on have been a lot of fun - and this definitely is one of my favourites despite not having to go very far away for it at all!
ReplyDeleteSo many memories of Bloc Party...such a blast from the past!
ReplyDeleteHaha I remember when Pizza hut used to do coke floats many, many moons ago. Those were the days eh?
ReplyDeleteThanks Laila, it's one of my favourites too, definitely a great reminder of a fab weekend :)
ReplyDeleteI love 'em, they're such a good band!
ReplyDeleteThat's such a cute little kitchen!

Thanks Colleen, it was like kid's playtime, everything was so cute!
ReplyDeleteAha aw, not to worry I'm just the same! Glad you had a good time :)
ReplyDeleteHen parties and weddings are great ways to catch up with old friends whom you wouldn't otherwise meet up with. Sounds like so much fun - soda floats (how retro!) and dancing to familiar tunes you love. What a happy looking photo of you all :)
