I need more daylight hours (hello blogger problems!) the brightness of this neon jumper, coupled with the overcast and shorter days mean that the true colour of this pink jumper is pretty hard to capture. A friend of mine recently commented that I don't seem to wear bright colours as much anymore - bearing in mind that when I was in college, I used to wear clashing rainbow colours on a daily basis. I think I tried quite hard to be 'different' and 'Arty'. I'd like to say that my style is a little more refined now and I try not to go too overboard with the colours. Though on this occasion I couldn't help but team the pink with my green bag (it reminds me of lime starbursts). I've always thought that these two colours look so good together and super cheerful too!

love the sweater and bag :)

ReplyDeleteThat is one pretty jumper.

you have reminded me I have a neon jumper somewhere! x
ReplyDeleteI also used to wear crazy clashing colours all the time but I'm not sure if I'm any more refined these days or if I just have less time to devote to shopping! That jumper is lovely - I have a jumper of a similar colour by Luella but I'm selling it as it is a bit small for me, maybe this could be my replacement! XX
ReplyDeleteLoving all the colours!
ReplyDeleteLove your jumper!! Such a vibrant colour, perfect for the dull weather =)

That jumper is such a great colour! I love how you coordinated your accessories, too :)
ReplyDeleteI love how wearing brighter clothes in the winter instantly cheers up your day. Your bag is so gorgeous and the pink suits you so well.
ReplyDeleteOoh I totally see what you mean with the lime starbursts! I really love brightly coloured clothing and you pull it off so well, seems like a sweet outfit to brighten up a dreary day :)
ReplyDeleteI must say I'm super jealous of your sweater now!! it looks so warm and pretty! :)

Love the 'fit! I think pink and green work great with one another! The bag is super cute. I wish I could learn how to downsize to a small bag. Carrying around a big bag can get heavy! :P
ReplyDeleteThe green and pink look awesome together- I would never have thought about it until seeing this. I like to think I have come a long way from sixth form days of boyfriend jeans, ballet flats and fitted jumpers, but when I'm done for the day and I move into house-clothes mode, it's just a slight reversal of where the proportions are- huge jumper and leggings!
ReplyDeleteCute sweater dear :D

love the neon color combination here, it totally brightened up my otherwise gloomy snowy day!
ReplyDeleteAh, Starburst are so good! That is the perfect reference. Love the bright colour on you but totally agree that I also tend to go for more subdued colours these days. I think it's good to up the ante every now again though and you can totally pull it off. xx
ReplyDeleteHaha,. I understand the blogger problems! Where has the light gone? I love the bright green and the bright pink together, there's no such thing as too much colour. Also, your furry jumper is so pretty and it looks so cosy :) xx
ReplyDeleteThe shorter days & lack of light are such a pain, winter is definitely the worst time to be a blogger! I absolutely love the pink & the green together, they clash but in the best possible way, the little white shirt collar poking out is a lovely detail too. I love seeing how peoples style evolves & refines, it's so interesting. Would you believe I wore almost nothing but tracksuits & boy jeans & tees when I was at school, then at college I dressed all vintage rocker... I think a few bits of these still show through today though, I'm still a huge tomboy & partial to a good leather jacket & biker boot! ;)
ReplyDelete#firstworldbloggerproblems. :P Seeing you in your pink sweater makes me want to dig out my orange one- however all my winter clothes are in storage. Woe is me and it's 19 degrees here. #hkwinterhasbegun

neon sweaters! Xx
I love these colors! You always look so well put together and pretty. :) And ah, I definitely hate how quickly it gets dark here too. I know it's winter but it's so depressing.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely necklace! love how it looks with your sweater! x

It's always refreshing to see brights in autumn/winter. I am a fan of bright colours. I love your pink jumper. xx/Madison
ReplyDeleteWe've all been there. It was similar for me, I used to wear all sorts of mad stuff when I was 19-22, I went nuts with colours. And now I think I've grown into a style that suits and works for me. Though like you here I do dabble now and again but it's more considered. I agree, the light is making things really tricky at the mo. Still, it looks super bright!
ReplyDeleteIn reply to your comment, yeah the leather wallet smells wonderful.
