Mango Pudding

Mango pudding is a well known Hong Kong dessert. In some restaurants in HK, it's often served as a complimentary dessert but it's actually been a long time since this was offered to me. It's surprisingly easy to make at home as it uses minimal ingredients and minimal time. While I've been sworn to secrecy on the actual recipe we use (my aunt and mum took me to one side and told me never to share it!) it is pretty darn close to this one that I found after a quick google. Our recipe is close to the first option using the gelatin method except we use less milk and more of the whipping cream. Condensed milk and evaporated milk are popular additions to a lot of desserts in HK and so when it comes to eating one of these, a little drizzle of evaporated milk finishes off this super yummy dessert!
