A very quick outfit post today! I somehow managed to go and snap these shots outdoors even though it has been raining all day! Remember that tee from this post? Well I bought it and of course from all the positive comments you guys had for it, you all definitely played a part in convincing me to go back. I love how it's long enough to wear with tights or just leggings. In this case, I have my cotton tights on, nice and cosy!

I have so much work to do for uni (only 3 weeks until the end of the first semester) and then we finish for the Christmas holidays! I can't believe it's come round so quickly. My friends and I have already been allocated our secret Santas. How do you guys buy presents for friends at Christmas? Do you do the same?

My friends and I don't really buy each other presents anymore, it all got a bit disorganised since we went to Uni, such a shame as I used to enjoy picking out stuff. ReplyDeleteI don't think Christmas pressies will be quite as big this year. Looking for small things and small prices. I guess. But mainly getting together is the best part for potlucks or a movie. Sometimes, we exchange DVDs or give copies of some of our favorite mixes.

ReplyDeleteI'm trying to crochet hats..but I'm not getting much done. So they might get something else. Usually, I try to find a quirky pin or something to put on the hat too. I have some friends..its best just to get them food. I have a friend who's a cheese lover. So I might make her some napkins and make a little basket with cheese, crackers and stuff. Possibly, I can get my Mom to buy her some wine. I think big, but usually, its not quite as elabrate as I'd hoped. I did find some gray thigh highs other day and I picked up an extra pair for a friend too. Its so hard to Christmas shop cause its stuff I want for me. I hate being that way.

So sweet. Wow, how cold is it yet? Brrrr..here..flurries today. I've been trying my best to wear more tights and skirts and stuff at work ..and everyone tells me how cute I am..and I must credit all the thanks to your style.
ReplyDeleteWell, of course, my friends and I like to party. Kind of. But its probably nothing compared to real party-goers. & well, there is always going out to eat, but more cooking at home.
I think homemade things are really best. One year, we just did this craft thing with plushies at my place. It was fun. I got my little brother and his girlfriend to make one.
I went to Michaels yesterday and thought how fun it would be if we did some jewelry stuff.

ReplyDeleteI love doing secret santa with friends however I haven't done it in years. Now I only buy gifts for family and my boyfriend. As a university student, I can't afford to buy gifts for my friends and I think they understand :)
